If you have a passion for having fun while doing good and love the Montgomery Area Food Bank mission of feeding those in need, please consider conducting a Fund/food Drive or fundraising benefit! It's a great way for you and your friends, family, and neighbors to support those in need in our community. Fund/food drives are collecting funds and food and donating to the Montgomery Area Food Bank. Fundraisng events are by creating and organizing special events/fundraisers that raise funds for the Montgomery Area Food Bank and all they serve. It's a fun, social way to use your time and talents to a truly worthy mission. We encourage you to develop fundraisers tailored to your group's specific talents and interests!

Mission Statement
The Montgomery Area Food Bank serves the needy across Alabama through member agencies by soliciting, procuring and distributing excess food, grocery and household products.
Description
We are a private, non-profit organization that, since 1986, has been providing emergency food assistance to our neighbors in need. As a warehouse distributor of surplus, donated food, as well as USDA product and some purchased products, we distribute food to needy clients through our partner agencies, who work with us to eliminate hunger and its harmful effects via special programs. We currently serve 35 counties across Alabama.
