During these uncertain times, how can we help?

The Global Acupuncture Project
The Global Acupuncture Project has been in operation since 2003, and our current website (www.globalacupuncture.org) needs to be updated/redesigned. It needs to appeal to the widest audience possible, including volunteers and donors, and clearly display what we do and what we have accomplished. We are looking for someone with a creative, artistic eye to make it a more user-friendly, attractive site as well as one that is easily kept up to date.

The mission of The Global Acupuncture Project (GAP) is to partner with and train local healthcare providers in countries where health care is limited and/or in accessible to use simple and effective acupuncture techniques to help manage common symptoms and to improve the quality of life of individuals affected by HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, and other debilitating conditions.
The Global Acupuncture Project (GAP) trains health care providers in Mexico and in African countries to be able to use simple, effective acupuncture protocols to address the symptoms of HIV/AIDS, malaria, and TB, as well as other common conditions. The treatments can also address the unwanted side effects of otherwise helpful medications. Not a substitute for conventional medicine, the acupuncture works with it to reduce pain and suffering, improve quality of life, and help to instill a greater sense of hope. At the core of the trainings are two Training Manuals, which help to empower the Trainees to provide better care to their own people.
We'll work with your schedule.
This is a Virtual Opportunity, with no fixed address.
