Wholly H2O Landing Page

We are a very cool, Oakland, CA-based nonprofit working in watershed education through citizen science and online watershed tours (COVID-friendly). We have great programs getting kids and adults out and engaging with their ecosystems. We are building up our grant portfolio again and could use your expert help. We have a great writer who would like to train two other grant writers to work with him. We have many pf the pieces/parts already written, but pieces often need to be retooled for specific grantors.

In addition, we're looking for someone who can each out to Bay Area's companies to get listed in their partner match programs as well as developing a campign to send to our followers to encourage them to sue this option to donate to us.

Believe me, your work will really count. We had three grant writers from volunteermatch last year that were fabulous and helped us get some wonderful grants.

Mission Statement

Wholly H2O catalyzes dynamic, informed connections between people and their watersheds via community and citizen science, art & green infrastructure education.

Description

What about reimagining watersheds as neighborhoods large and small literally Waterhoods? In order to deal with climate change, we have a great need for people to get reconnected to the ecosystems and their waterhoods so that we have a better understanding of what we ALL need - humans other animals and plants together. Rather than seeing the natural world, of which we are a part, as a series of resources to extract, we’re encouraging you to get to know your waterhood and all your neighbors.
