Greet cafeteria customers with a smile.
Circulate cafeteria to observe patients in need.
Assist cafeteria patrons in need (i.e. frail individuals) with finding seating and help carry their trays or personal items as they get settled to sit down and eat their meal.
As needed and if time allows, wipe tables, move empty trays to dishwashing area and keep eye on caferteria and customer flow. Report any concerns to cafeteria manager.

No matter what the volunteer role, volunteers are a valuable resource and their time is truly appreciated. The essence of volunteerism is the spirit of services to others. Our goal is to continue to serve patients while providing the volunteer with a challenging and satisfying experience.
