MidMichigan Home Care's Hospice is looking for volunteers to visit patients, provide companionship to the patient by engaging in conversation, reading , or playing games.
Volunteer may provide respite for the caregiver/family to run errands or take time for themselves.
Volunteer can visit patients in their homes or in facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living centers. Volunteer may provide limited physical care of the patient with specialized training.
Other opportunities include administrative support, bereavement follow up and special projects such as fund raising, Health fairs and memorial services
