Be a Junior Achievement volunteer and bring real world work skills and perspectives to students from Kindergarten - 12th grades. At least 400 volunteers are needed in Upstate SC classrooms for the fall and spring terms, 2017-18. You can choose the location, grade level, time, day, and program best for you in Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. You will receive personal and online training plus a turn-key curriculum with all the materials and instructions needed for the course. Read more: www.jaupstatesc.org.

JA in a Day Format: one day, 3-5 hours, elementary and middle school levels

Weekly Format: once per week, 30-45 minute session, for 5-7 weeks
(depending on program)

Elementary, K-1st grades: one 30-minute class per week for 5 weeks.

Elementary, 2nd-5th grades: one 45-minute class per week for 5 weeks.

Middle School(6th-8th grades): one 45-minute class a week for 6 weeks.

High School(9th-12th grades): one 45-minute class a week for 5-7 weeks.

After School: times vary

Summer programs and camps

JA Titan: one time a week, 7 weeks, plus mentoring the spring competition that awards college scholarships, high school level
