Holding Hands

The South Suburbs of Chicago (Oak Lawn, Glenwood, Tinley Park, South Holland, Lansing, Beecher) have patients who love visits from volunteers!

Empathetic, caring volunteers with at least two free hours per week will serve as Direct Care Patient Volunteers, visiting patients at facilities in your area, and engaging them with conversation, reading, music, going outdoors, assisting with activities, or holding hands and providing comfort. Do you have a special talent such as music or art? Engage patients with your talents! :)

Harbor Light Hospice patients live in nursing homes, assisted living and their own homes and are in need of your company.

Please call Larisa -Volunteer Coordinator- @ 630-682-3871 for information.

Thank you for your compassion and kindness for hospice.
