We need after school tutors for our "Studio" Program. You will assist low-income students grades 1-8 on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday afternoons (choose one day or all)from 4:00-5:30 pm. You can be the person to make an impact on their lives!

Our students and our volunteers find the experience to be very rewarding.

Studio - Our After School Homework Center

Tutoring for up to 25 school children, ages 7-13

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Studio gives students in grades 1 - 8 homework help and tutoring. Students work one-on-one with volunteer tutors to complete homework assignments and work on proficiency in needed subjects. After homework is completed, students may play games.

Description

Each month we address the basic needs of our community with these services:

Emergency food for about 1,600 individuals, including about 700 children.

Clothing from our community donors.

In addition, we offer two educational programs for young people:

ABC Playtime-Children ages 3-5 are prepared for kindergarten academically and socially in our on-site facility.

Studio-Students grades 1-6 have access to our computer lab and receive assistance with homework during the school year.
