Make a world of difference for students as you learn from them and their diverse experiences. Help refugees overcome one of the largest barriers to becoming self-sufficient in the United States, the English language. LSI is looking for dedicated volunteers to teach ESL classes.

Position Summary:

Elder Program ESL Teacher:

Help elderly refugees aged 60 and over who are working toward their goal of becoming citizens. We currently need volunteers to lead ESL classes during the summer session (June 7 - August 2) on Mondays and Wednesdays with the option of continuing to volunteer on an ongoing basis.

Time Commitment:

Starting June 7 until at least August 2 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 am-12:00 pm.
