Adopt A Cat Shelter

Adopt A Cat Foundation is the only rescue shelter in Palm Beach County dedicated exclusively to the care and placement of homeless street cats. We have a free-roaming, no-kill shelter which houses up to 100 cats at any given time. We need your help to keep our kitties comfy until they find their forever home! Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one day a week, for two to three hours. Duties include filling the food and water bowls, scooping litter, sweeping, laundry, and paying lots and lots of attention to the cats! Rewards include purrs, head butts, and lots of love from our furry residents. Volunteers who successfully complete 30 days work receive 25% off merchandise in our resale store! If you love cats, we have cats just waiting to be loved by you!

Mission Statement

To find loving homes for stray and homeless cats in Palm Beach County, and to educate the public about the need to have pets fixed. We also participate in trap, neuter, vaccinate and release programs as needed. We are a no-kill shelter and work hard to eradicate the problem of feline overpopulation through humane means.

The Adopt A Cat Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization, committed to finding loving homes for rescued cats and kittens. Founded by our 25-year rescue veteran Inga Hanley, the foundation operates solely by donations and the support of its volunteers.
