Every year more than 5000 kids participate in Summer Reading at Hillsboro Public Library. Be a part of the team that registers kids, awards prizes, and helps with special events!
Summer Reading volunteers work at least 2 hours per week in the children's section of the Library, from June to mid-August. Scheduling is flexible. You'll have a chance to work alongside our professional librarians, hone your customer service skills, and get kids excited about reading.
Students are eligible to volunteer if they're completing 7th grade this school year. But apply soon--spots are filling fast!
