This is our Hana Hou (one more time!) recycling center at our community in Hawaii. By making the recycling center decorative and pretty, we have encouraged more people to recycle!

Hedonisia Hawaii is a sustainable community tucked away in the lush rainforests of Big Island, Hawaii.

For visitors who wish to enjoy an educational working holiday in Hawaii we offer the Hedonisia Fair-Trade Volunteer Program.

Volunteers can support our community and social enterprise web projects while living and working in paradise!

The volunteer work can be challenging or easy depending on your health and enthusiasm. But what we do guarantee is a 'Work as a Workout' vacation! Many volunteers who come here enjoy working in the land, clearing jungle, landscaping, trail building, tree maintenance or tropicial agriculture.

And for those who like to work 'indoors' we always have cleaning and maintenance duties for our community lodgings and facilities!

There is a fee for this volunteer opportunity: $120 for the 1st Tryout week and $60 each week thereafter. Volunteers work only 12 hour per week so it is a very affordable way to enoy a working vacation in Hawaii!

This program is an opportunity for volunteer ecotourists to enjoy a working vacation in the Hawaiian rainforest!
