The Kent County Parks Department welcomes volunteers of all ages and ability levels! From general park clean-up to special projects, we look forward to working with individuals, groups, scouts, students and families who would like to support green spaces and trails at dozens of Kent County Park sites throughout the County. Project days are scheduled throughout the year (depending on weather and ground conditions) and include spring and fall park clean ups, invasive species control (including Garlic Mustard "Pull and Bag"), native species planting/seed harvesting, and more! Many project days are scheduled on Saturday mornings - and "Stewardship Days" are scheduled on weekdays. Visit https://kentcountyparks.org/events/ to see what is currently posted and for information on how to register for an event. Volunteer groups are welcome to contact us to plan a day, time and park site for your members, team or students.
