Junior Achievement of East Tennessee is a non-profit organization dedicated to preparing and inspiring young people to succeed in a global economy. By using hands-on activities, volunteers teach students fundamental financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship principles.
We are recruiting volunteers to teach JA programs in various K-12th grade schools in Knoxville and surrounding East Tennessee Counties. Each volunteer will be required to teach 5 to 7, 30-45 minute lessons, over a period of five to seven weeks. JA provides each volunteer with lesson plans, materials, and training.

Description
We need volunteers to teach students from the grade levels of K-12 about financial literacy, Economic Education and Work Force Readiness. Opportunites range from 5 lessons (weeks) 35-45 minutes for Elementary, 6 lessons (weeks) 45 minutes for Middle School to 7 lessons (weeks) 45 minutes for High School. Junior Achievement provides all the materials to teach the programs including a step by step guidebook.
