Imagine if your house burnt down and you and your family suddenly become homeless. Where will you sleep? How will you stay warm?
Providing a warm fleece blanket is an opportunity to offer a small comfort to families in their time of need and crisis. No-sew fleece blankets are made by attaching two layers of warm fleece with simple knots. Almost anyone can do it because there is no experience necessary. These blankets are then distributed to families who are homeless, in crisis, or unable to adequately heat their homes.
You can do this volunteer opportunity from home, or bring a group to TrueNorth, we would love to meet you!
