Non-profit supporting San Francisco Animal Care and Control is looking for a volunteer to help us and our rescue partners with spreading the word about the city's open-door animal shelter: SFACC.
Looking for someone with experience in grass-roots marketing and PR to work with us on special projects, as well as general awareness raising about the SFACC new building campaign (2020-21). Folks with connections to all types of media are especially encouraged to contact us. Help write occasional fundraising pieces, letters to the editor. etc.
Open to anyone with applicable skills or an interest in opportunities to develop such skills.

Mission Statement
To raise funds for San Francisco Animal Care & Control, SF's open-admissions municipal animal shelter in order to establish or enhance programs of animal welfare, and public education and service.
Description
A fundraising organization with that subsidizes free microchipping clinics, the SFACC Emergency Medical Fund, grants to the shelter's nonprofit animal rescue partners, and other much-needed supplies and services not covered by ACC's budget allocations.
