CASA Volunteers advocate for a child's emotional, physical and educational needs while they are in the care of the
child welfare system with the goal of helping them find a more stable life in a safe and permanent home.
Contact the child to find out about their living situation, health, education and emotional needs. You will also make contact with others involved in the child's life - teachers, doctors, coaches, relatives and others who can give pertinent information about the child.
Visit the child monthly or infants bi-weekly (Infant & Toddler Pogram)
Monitor the case to ensure services are being implemented
Submit court reports to the judge and give verbal testimony about the child's physical, mental, educational needs.
We'll work with your schedule.
