Deliver Meals to HomeBound Seniors
Interfaith Community Services
ICS Mobile Meals program needs route and substitute drivers for NW Tucson. Substitute drivers deliver meals once or twice/month on an as-needed basis. Route drivers are needed to deliver meals once per week to homebound clients as routes open up. Our substitute drivers fill in when regular drivers are not available. The more drivers we have, the more we can keep pace with the need for meals. It is that simple! Mobile Meals drivers pick up prepared meals at a provider site, deliver to a max of 8 nearby clients, and then return the insulated containers to the provider site. Meals are picked and delivered between 10:00 a.m. and 12, depending on the route. Most deliveries take an hour to an hour and half. The recipients you meet will greatly appreciate your friendly service and time.
