The Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad and Museum is looking for persons interested in becoming a Stationmaster.
The Stationmaster is the backbone of the train operations. The Stationmaster is responsible for dispatching trains, overseeing the crew(s), and answering questions from the customers.
We have volunteers from a wide array of backgrounds and interest. Come experience how rewarding it can be to help our customers enjoy the history of railroading.

The mission of the Iowa Railroad Historical Society is to promote and encourage interest in the preservaion of railroad history through the application of an operating museum; to acquire buildings, equipment, track and relics specifically relating to railroads; to educate and promote public knowledge of and interest in historic railroad travel and to engage in activities for the accomplishment of these purposes.
