About The Williams Institute for Ethics and Management

Location:

6619 N SCOTTSDALE RD, SCOTTSDALE, AZ 85250, US

Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote ethics in community through research, education and leadership, by helping young people and adults to: Judge what is right, Care deeply about what is right, and Do what is right. These three points are the ingredients for moral maturity and represent the behavior we encourage -- even in the face of pressure from without and temptation from within.

Description

The TWI mission is to build ethics in community-wherever people work together to meet a common goal. We are a unique institution that embraces the belief that ethics is more about people, their relationships and personal responsibility for decision making, and less about forcing ethical behavior through rules and codes of conduct. TWI is an independent nonprofit ethics institute that is self-funding through our social entrepreneurial model. We do this through the learning and training tools we have created and sell to universities and training departments across the country, through the ethics-focused training programs we offer, and through the services we provide organizations to assist them in maximizing their effectiveness through building an ethics-impacted work environment.
