Dog Handlers Needed!

Humane Society of the Nature Coast

  • 54 people are interested

Our Dog Handling program is designed to provide exercise and socialization to our canine visitors! Volunteers are trained to use positive-reinforcement methods to increase the animal's success in their new home. Our goal is to make this task fun for both the animal and the dog walker.

Experienced Dog Walkers are also our resource to bring our dogs to public events to help find them their forever homes. We also allow day passes for our dogs to experience car rides to something fun, like a park or puppy cafe.

Masks are required when social distancing is not possible.
