Dates and Times: Tuesdays, between 3-7pm & Saturdays, between 9-1pm AND/OR Saturday, 5/23/15 between 2-5pm at the Growing Hope Center
Location: Downtown Ypsilanti and/or Depot Town AND the Growing Hope Center
Description: Do you have mad photography skills that you’d like to use at the Growing Hope Farmers Markets? GH is looking for a few volunteers to capture all the action happening at our markets. We also need 1-2 volunteer to photograph special events like our 12th birthday party, which is taking place at the Growing Hope Center on May 23rd between 2-5pm. Snap some pictures and send them our way so they can get posted on social media and used to spread the word! Your photos may even be featured in a future edition of "Let’s Grow Together".

Description
Using a strengths-based approach, we work to build peoples' capacity to use community and school gardens as vehicles for positive social, economic, environmental and neighborhood change. We advocate for healthy food, manage an urban farmers market, and train youth and adults to make positive investments in their future. Growing Hope provides training, resources and advocacy to build strong and vital communities. We are based in-- and rooted in-- Ypsilanti, but work throughout Washtenaw County and somewhat throughout the SE Michigan region. Additionally, we manage the Ypsilanti Farmers Markets and the Wayne Farmers Market.
