Volunteers with Passaic Valley Hospice visit our terminally ill patients in their homes throughout northern New Jersey. Our goal is to support patients physically, emotionally and spiritually, and their families, so those in their final months can live as fully and comfortably as possible and finish their journey with dignity and peace.
Volunteers provide companionship for patients and families, and help with respite for caregivers. There are also needs for assistance with office work and making bereavement phone calls. Training is provided with continuing coaching available.
