Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Wisconsin

  • 33 people are interested

Being a Big is a rewarding experience for both a volunteer and a child! In fact, our volunteers tell us they get as much out of the experience as the kids.

Our community based program is where you get to share activities with a child that you both enjoy! This might include catching fireflies for the first time, flying a kite, a first trip to the ballpark, building sandcastles at the beach or just eating an ice cream sundae together. When a volunteer introduces new worlds to a child it truly does create magic in their lives.

You will get to enjoy these fun times three to four times a month with your Little Brother or Little Sister on your own schedule. Our agency serves Littles who live in Portage or Wood County.

We do require our volunteers to be at least 18 years old, have access to an insured vehicle and be able make a 12 month commitment for our community based program.
