Discover the fun of Columbus and surrounding areas! Make friends by joining us in recreation activities!
Franklin County Recreation sponsors recreation activities in Columbus and surrounding communities - most on evenings or Saturdays. Enjoy activities like camping, baseball games, plays, concerts, art classes, museums, movies, festivals and more!
Volunteers choose their favorite activities and attend those activities with small groups of adults with developmental disabilities. Recreation staff and vendors facilitate the activities, while volunteers and recreation members have a great time. Schedules are very flexible, especially for students and volunteers with full-time jobs. What a great way to serve and have fun at the same time!
