It's that time of year again. People everywhere are anticipating the grass turning green and flowers starting to grow. We are looking for a group or several individuals to help us spruce up the landscaping around the Beacon of Life.
Spring Spruce Up Needs:
bags of mulch - It takes around 15 bags to go around the building.
garden gloves
large and small hand tools for raking and weeding.

Description
The Beacon of Life is a long term transitional housing facility with a 34 woman capacity. We strive to give women the strength and skills they need to live independently.
The women we serve come from many different backgrounds and individual situations. Some are homeless, other are coming from jails, prison, or other residential treatment programs. We offer many different classes and groups to help these women understand what got them in their particular situations, how to change their behaviors and how to become strong, independent women.
