Greet visitors and answer phones at the busy Uhuru (Freedom) House black community center in South St. Petersburg. Inform visitors and callers about African People's Education and Defense Fund commuinty programs including Black Power 96.3 FM radio, Uhuru Jiko Community Commercial Kitchen, One Africa One Nation Market Place and Uhuru Foods and Pies.
Assist Akwaaba Hall Rental and Sales Coordinator to conduct tours and promotions of the community event space and commercial kitchen.
Looking for regular weekly volunteers 1 to 5 days a week Monday - Friday any time between
9am- 5pm.
Volunteers with Microsoft Word and Excel experience can work on additional projects.
