Share your personal money management experience and skills to empower Tampa Bay area immigrants and refugees, helping them achieve the American dream!

Project Prosper offers free financial literacy classes to Adult ESOL (English as a Second Language) students throughout Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco Counties. We are in search of volunteers interested in helping immigrants and refugees successfully transition to their new home via financial education. We provide the locations, students and classroom materials! Our class schedules are flexible and we have short- and long-term assignments with unlimited opportunities.

Project Prosper is a unique grassroots organization founded in Tampa Bay in 2007 with a mission to provide financial integration services and resources that empower recent immigrants and refugees in the community to achieve financial stability. We value the dynamic, resilient, innovative, and entrepreneurial spirit of immigrants and refugees, and envision a community that enables them to realize their full potential. By facilitating financial integration, we empower participants to achieve the American Dream and become thriving and successful members of the community. Project Prosper offers two programs, group financial literacy classes and a program of small, no interest loans with mentoring and matched savings.
