DRBC currently hosts 3 MeetUp groups in Philadelphia, Bucks County and the Lehigh Valley. Three positions are open one in each of the ares mentioned.
The MeetUp Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the event ranging from initial planning to implementation of the event. Specifically, the MeetUp Coordinator must schedule the event, arrange the event location, and find sponsors of food, drink, finances, and door prizes as needed. Additionally, this coordinator may be responsible for promotion of the event and be available to solve any last minute problems that arise in the implementation of the event.

Mission Statement
Founded in 1984 by Bucks County, PA and New Jersey dachshund lovers, DRBC is a 501-C3 nonprofit supported completely by donations. Our all-volunteer organization works tirelessly to provide an experience for both the adopter and adoptee that helps guarantee a perfect match. DRBC's goal is to save abandoned, owner turn-ins, neglected or stray Dachshunds. DRBC does not just place needy Dachshunds; we specialize in matches of the heart. All DRBC dogs with long-term medical issues are given life-long sanctuary as permanent members of one of our foster homes. Additionally, DRBC supports the long term sponsorship of senior dachshunds.
Description
DRBC prides itself as an organization on the level of medical care provided and in its role as a medical resource for the dachshund breed.
We endeavor to obtain all Doxies in animal shelters thus avoiding euthanasia. We also aid Doxie owners in recovering lost or stolen pets.
Our rescue program, which has been in existence almost 35 years, serves the Dachshund Rescue needs of Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
