TRAINING ACADEMY FOR Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) of Orange County.
TIP volunteers provide immediate emotional and practical support to victims of traumatic events. Volunteers are called to OC emergency scenes by firefighters, paramedics, police officers, and hospital personnel to provide support to those who have experienced a tragic event. Must attend all 8 dates of Training Academy (starting Feb 1, 2024);
Ongoing Opportunity requires three-12 hour shifts per month, plus attending a monthly Continuing Education meeting.

Trauma Intervention Program of Orange County is committed to helping emotionally traumatized persons in their time of greatest need. We strongly believe that no person should be alone immediately following a traumatic incident.
Description
The Trauma Intervention Program of OC (TIP OC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which utilizes well trained citizens to provide emotional and practical support to survivors of tragic events. TIP volunteers are dispatched by fire, law enforcement and hospital personnel to emergency scenes throughout our coverage area in Orange County.
