Outreach Counselors for StandUp For Kids - DC will work under the direction of the Director of Outreach to provide various outreach services to homeless, runaway and at-risk youth. Outreach Counselors will be the face of our organization to youth that we serve. Counselors will go to the streets to assist homeless and street kids by distributing food, clothing, hygiene products and information to help the kids that believe no one cares that we do!

Ending the cycle of youth homelessness. We do this in cities across America, one youth at a time.
Description
Since May 2011, we have been connecting homeless and at-risk youth in DC with much-needed services around the District. We engage youth through street outreach and outreach centers at different locations throughout the city. The work we do is a very effective combination of stand-alone StandUp for Kids activities and collaborations with other youth-serving organizations.
Our core programs are street outreach, outreach center and advocacy.
