JA Days include sequential themes for students in pre-school through high school. Volunteers from the community are provided materials and trained by JA staff before the JA Day. JA places the volunteers in the classroom to teach the entire JA curriculum in an exciting one-day event. JA’s Programs prepare students for lifelong learning.
Time Commitment :
One day (4-5 hour commitment).
*Materials and training are provided by JA staff to volunteers prior to their classroom experience.

Mission Statement
Junior Achievement of Central Indiana, Inc., in partnership with the business and education communities, provides learning experiences for central Indiana students with a concentration on financial literacy, life skills, job skills, entrpreneurship, and a fundamental understanding of the free enterprise system.
Description
JA uses sequential and integrated programs in kindergarten through 12th grade to help young people use information, apply basic skills, think critically, and solve problems. Classroom volunteers make economic concepts relevant by sharing their time and talent in the classroom or at the JA facility. JA provides the training, materials, and support necessary to ensure a positive classroom or simulation experience.
