If you are wanting to be a Hospice Volunteer and want to start right away....then you are at the right place...

If you are interested, I would love to hear from you. Please include your phone number and email address.

Below is information about our agency and Volunteers:

At Heart to Heart Hospice we are all about quality of care. Sometimes all it takes to make this happen is for a friendly face to show up and make someone feel special for a little bit. . . . that's where our Volunteers come in! They are the ones who just come and visit without an agenda. Who have the time to sit and really listen to life stories, hold a hand, go on a walk, read a story out loud, or sit during a meal and visit.

Our Volunteers:

  • Do not provide any medical care at all.
  • They are friendly visitors. offer companionship and socialization.
  • Choose their own schedules of when they volunteer.
  • And where they volunteer.
  • Go thru a special orientation before being matched with a patient/family.

I look forward to hearing from you! Charlotte Scottino, Volunteer Coordinator (512) 962-8477

About Heart to Heart Hospice of Austin

Location:

4009 Banister Lane, Ste 100, Austin, TX 78704, US

Mission Statement

" Providing compassion and caring, while striving to enhance the quality of life for those with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones."

Description

The importance of our Volunteers to the hospice program cannot be overstated. Without you we could provide neither the kinds nor the scope of services that are so urgently needed to enhance the quality of the lives of our patients and their families.

In addition, since hospice has developed in response to a community need, it is appropriate and necessary that members of the community share in and contribute to that growth. Volunteers serve as a link between hospice and the community for mutual support and information sharing.
