Family Promise of Morris County is actively seeking candidates for the Board of Trustees with the following attributes:
- Integrity
- Mature confidence
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Courage to provide a voice for the voiceless
- Empathic understanding of the situation of homelessness
- Hands on approach in supporting the agency

Meetings are held monthly on the first Thursday, from 6:30 -8:30pm.

Family Promise of Morris County is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit organization dedicated to ending the crisis of homelessness faced by Morris County families by partnering with public and private agencies, religious congregations and community volunteers to provide shelter, case management and mentoring services leading to self-sufficiency
Agency Vision for the Community
Any Morris County family facing the crisis of homelessness will have access to clean and safe shelter and responsive and compassionate support that will provide a path to independence and self-sufficiency.

Description
We provide emergency shelter through our valuable network of over 80 local dedicated volunteer congregations and over 1,600 volunteers. This enables staff to provide families with the day-to-day support needed to become linked to community resources and self-sufficient.
