249 W Thornhill DrFort Worth, TX 76115

Catholic Charities Fort Worth resettled nearly 650 refugees in 2014. The inability to speak English is a large barrier for these individuals and families becoming self-sufficient. Helping a refugee learn English is a direct way to help them move out of poverty and towards self-sufficiency. This opportunity allows volunteers to assist ESL Instructors with group and/or individual activities in ESL classes for adult refugees. Classes are held on Mondays (12pm-3pm), Tuesdays (8am-11am) and Thursdays (8am-11am).
