Open Door Animal Sanctuary is looking for volunteers to come out to our shelter to help clean out our dog kennels, cat cages, and living environments. We are also in need of volunteers willing to clean our yards and outdoor run areas!
Our volunteers will also be welcome to walk and socialize our dogs and brush and pet our cats when the cleaning is done.
If you are interested, please respond to this ad and our Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance!

Mission Statement
ODAS is a no-kill shelter dedicated to preserving the life and health of homeless cats and dogs, providing shelter, food and veterinary care while fostering their social skills and facilitating their adoption into loving homes.
Description
Open Door Animal Sanctuary was founded in 1975 by Joan Costello and Carol Perkins, and is now one of the largest no-kill shelters in the area! Our mission is to provide homeless cats and dogs with the highest quality of life and a chance at finding a forever home. We care for roughly 350 animals every day. We have several programs that benefit our community, including low-cost spay & neuter, a Pet Food Pantry, and Seniors-for-Seniors. Our volunteers are an essential part of the well-being and socialization of our animals here at Open Door.
