Mission Statement AARP Tax-Aide provides free tax counseling for middle to low income taxpayers, with special attention to those age 60 and older.
Description
AARP Tax-Aide, the nation's largest, free, volunteer-run tax counseling and preparation service for the past 33 years. AARP Tax-Aide is administered through the AARP foundation in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service. The AARP Foundation is an affiliated, 501 (c)(3) nonpartisan charitable organization, established in 1961. Work at various sites throughout the state, often at senior centers, libraries, banks, etc.
