Do you enjoy the outdoors? Would you like to make a positive impact on the environment and your community? Come join the Clearfield County Senior Environment Corps. Volunteers test and monitor the water quality of local streams. Many other volunteer opportunities are available with the Senior Environment Corps. You could help maintain walking trails, give presentations on groundwater protection and help educate the community on water safety. Why not help make a difference for future generations?

The Volunteer Center of Clearfield County (VCCC) provides opportunities for people to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. Sponsored by the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, Inc., VCCC is dedicated to making a difference in our community through volunteer service. Volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through schools, environmental organizations, nursing/personal care homes, hospitals and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. VCCC offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. VCCC matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
