SVSF's Adult GED Program provides free individualized assistance to adults in preparation for the High School Equivalency/GED exam.
We are looking for tutors on MONDAY AFTERNOONS 1:30pm to 3:30pm for our GED tutoring sessions at our New Center Campus at 7310 Woodward. (At Woodward and W. Grand Blvd.)
We focus heavily on math, because that seems to be the most challenging subject for most students. There will also be some need to assist students with Language Arts, Science and Social Studies.
If the time frame is between 1:30pm to 3:30pm. You can tutor the whole time of come for part of it, for example, 2:30pm-3:30pm.
There also may be other volunteer opportunities available.
