Newborns in Need is looking for volunteers to sew, knit or crochet baby gowns, blankets, quilts and other essential baby items for hospitals and other agencies that provide for premature and newborn infants.
Donations of baby fabric and yarn are much needed. We also accept gently used clothing for preemies and other infants up to size 12 months, as well as maternity clothing in all sizes.
We meet on the first Saturday of every month from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Cape Albeon 3380 Lake Bend Drive, Valley Park, MO 63088.

(NIN) is a 501(c)3 charity organized to take care of sick and needy babies and their families; and in cases of crisis, to help where help is needed. Newborns in Need, Inc. was founded on Christian principles and provides essential items without charge to those in need. We have been serving God's tiniest children since 1992. Description
Volunteers use their talents to provide knitted, crocheted and sewn premature and full-term baby items. Chapters collect formula, clothes, blankets, diapers and baby hygiene items to be distributed in their local communities.
Newborns in Need offers support to the grieving family by providing bereavement and memory items to honor and swaddle the precious life that was lost much too soon.
