Compassionate Care Hospice is seeking caring volunteers to donate a couple hours a week to visit a hospice patient. Volunteers provide companionship, can read to their patient, play cards and games, and more, depending on the patient's abilities and interests. Patients live either in their own home, a skilled nursing home, or assisted living residence.
Training is provided, and the hours are very flexible.
We hold optional bi-monthly meetings for volunteers to receive ongoing support and training, and to meet other volunteers, We have lots of fun doing good work!

Founded in 1993, Compassionate Care Hospice is a community-based organization committed to providing the highest quality hospice care to patients, their families and close friends.
We care for terminally ill patients with a wide range of illnesses including cancer, advanced cardiac disorders, advanced neurological disorders, and any end stage disease.
At Compassionate Care we are committed to quality of life, which enables patients to remain in the comfort and privacy of their own homes, with their loved ones. We provide the special care and services that make that choice possible.
