San Diego Coastkeeper is seeking volunteer skippers to operate our 18' Boston Whaler, Clean Sweep.
Clean Sweep is taken out in San Diego's Big Bay one to two times per month and the crew may perform any of the following:
1) water quality monitoring activities; 2) educational purposes (e.g. distributing literature, touring with Coastkeeper guests, etc.); 3) responding to citizen complaints or spills; or 4) member, board, staff, volunteer, media or donor appreciation.

San Diego Coastkeeper is a locally-based non-profit organization and is San Diego's official agency of the international Waterkeeper Alliance, which works to protect the world's waterways. Coastkeeper protects the region's bays, beaches, watersheds and ocean for the people and wildlife that depend on them. We balance community outreach, education, and advocacy to promote stewardship of clean water and a healthy coastal ecosystem.
