Help facilitate and lead others to volunteer at the hospital and outpatient center! The volunteer position does the following:
- Follow up with volunteers who inquire about volunteer opportunities by returning calls or emails. Forward the appropriate information: email application information or direct to the website. Help process paperwork for volunteers (filing, copying, etc.).
- Assist with preparation of volunteer orientation materials. Assist at some volunteer orientations by taking photos of volunteers for ID badges and layout/printing of badges.
- Help with data entry for volunteer records.
- Willingness to help the community.
Magee Rehabilitation improves the quality of life of persons with disabilities by providing high quality physical and cognitive rehabilitation services. Magee's strength is in its people, especially volunteers.
Training will be provided by the Community Programs Coordinator. The volunteer will be familiarized with hospital and departmental procedures.

About Magee Rehabilitation Hospital
Magee Rehabilitation Hospital is nationally recognized for its outstanding programs in physical and cognitive rehabilitation, with comprehensive services for spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, amputation, and orthopedic injuries.
Magee has been rated as one of America's leading rehabilitation hospitals in U.S. News & World Report's annual "America's Best Hospitals" rankings. Accredited by The Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Magee was the first facility in the nation to be CARF-accredited in brain injury rehabilitation.
Magee, in conjunction with Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, serves as the federally designated Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center of the Delaware Valley. One of only 14 such centers in the country.
Inpatient services are delivered at Magee's main campus located at Sixteenth & Race Streets in Center City Philadelphia. Outpatient programs are delivered through Magee's outpatient network, including the Magee Riverfront outpatient center at 1500 South Columbus Boulevard, Magee at Watermark in Center City, and Magee at Oxford Valley.
