Covering 7 acres with a variety of eco-zones, the Kōkua Learning Farm has plenty of room to showcase several different aspects of our local food system, education and community engagement. The Kōkua Learning Farm includes production fields, an orchard, Hawaiian garden, loʻi, native constructed wetland, ʻĀINA In Schools demonstration gardens, a compost area and more that will provide educational opportunities for keiki and community. The Kokua Learning Farm is an educational and agricultural destination, encouraging learners of all ages to actively support their local food system.
KHF hosts monthly public community workdays, as well as private group and individual volunteer opportunities at the Kōkua Learning Farm. We welcome families, students, educators, businesses and more.

  • Kōkua Learning Farm Community Workdays (open to the public) take place on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00am-11:30am. Projects may involve mulching, weeding, opala collection, nursery work, planting and harvesting. Must Register at kokuahawaiifoundation.org to join a Kōkua Learning Farm Community Workday
  • To plan a private workday for your school, church, business, military group, club, or other group, or if you are an individual who would like to volunteer. Contact volunteer@kokuahawaiifoundation and we will work with you to find the best fit.
