Dominican Home Health Agency is seeking a volunteer to help with the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) loan program. If you like to help people, have compassion and like the challenge of working with a diverse community, this is the volunteer job for you! The medical equipment volunteer will work with the coordinator for pickup of equipment and acceptance of donations and returns. Cleaning and minor repairs to the equipment are also part of the position. Stocking and organizing a storage garage with various nursing supplies and a small food pantry in also part of this opportunity. A background in physical or occupational therapy is helpful but not a requirement.
The regular hours needed for this program are 10 am to 3 pm on Monday or Friday during the week.
We are also looking for assistance with light maintenance, yard & grounds work and general handy-man assistance "as needed" at our campus.
