We are looking for volunteers who can visit patients with their therapy dog at our in patient unit at 8450 N Payne Rd, Suite 100; Indianapolis 46268. Dog must be registered with a certified organization such as Pet Partners.

Ascension at Home Together With Compassus has a special and compassionate way of caring for individuals who are facing end of life. Our hospice and bereavement teams bring many supportive care programs to the patient and their loved ones.
Description
Hospice is a concept of care, not a place of care. The program offers a wide range of services to benefit terminally ill patients and their families. Hospice is involved in the care of people with cancer and many other life-limiting conditions such as end-stage heart, lung or kidney disease, end-stage Alzheimer's disease and dementia, and other life-limiting conditions.
