Culmore United Methodist Church, Falls Church needs a couple of ESL classroom volunteer teachers (no professional requirements, just a good knowledge of English) and one or two assistants or substitutes. We will be using ESL textbooks and manuals purchased from Cambridge.org, along with simple strategies and tips from ESLIM. ESLIM(English as a Second Language Immigrant Ministries) publicizes and supports the ESL program offered by us as well as several other Methodist churches in Northern Virginia. No prior teaching experience needed, although it's would be great, of course. Spanish not required, but very useful, as would a knowledge of any other language(s).
