Opportunity: The Friends of the Orange Public Library is a non-profit organization that raises money for the Orange Public Library. Volunteers are needed for its Bookstore and Internet Sales.
Qualifications: Bookstore volunteers are friendly, enjoys working with the public, handles money, sorts donated books and stocks shelves. Internet Sales volunteers should be familiar with good book selection, familiar with the Internet, handle packaging and mailing books to buyers.
Current Openings: Volunteers are needed during the hours of the Bookstore. All shifts are available.
Monday - Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Requirements: All volunteers 16 and older are required to be drug screen and fingerprinted before they can volunteer with the Friends of the Library. This process is paid for by the City of Orange. Members must pay a minimum $10 membership fee per year.
