The SRC Ambassador provides a warm presence and welcomes guests to the SRC Southwest Plaza satellite office.
Key responsibilities include speaking with visitors, offering SRC information (providing referrals back to Seniors' Resource Center's various departments), answering phones, picking up donated refreshments and making coffee, organizing resource library (cataloguing new books, checking out books), and replenishing brochures.
The volunteer will learn more about community resources, while becoming an expert on needs/services to older adults. A great opportunity to have an impact on your community, remaining socially engaged.
