Help during lessons by leading horses or side walking during the lesson with instruction from riding instructor.

Volunteers with horse experience to groom and tack up horses for lessons.

Marketing and fund raising volunteers with experience.

Freedom Hooves Therapeutic Riding Center improves the quality of life for children and adults with physical, behavioral and emotional disabilities through therapeutic horseback riding.

Description

Freedom Hooves Therapeutic Riding Center has been providing services since 1999 and is devoted to serving children and adults with disabilities through equine-assisted therapies.

FHTRC focuses on therapeutic riding. Rather than just being ponied around, those who take part in this form of therapy see a number of benefits in man areas. These include psychological, physical, social, and educational gains.
